I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this session – it really was amazing!

We flew kites,

we did press ups,

we blew bubbles, did hugs,  jumped, picked dandelions,  chalked on the ground..

and best of all, made pig faces (my fave)…

The boys were such fun and the images all came out so well that I had nearly 200 that I LOVED! I usually present my clients with around 30-40 images, but this session was so hard to whittle down! And to top it all, mom’s headshot – stunning!!

My session with Missy L was back in May of this year, but back then i didnt have this fabby new site to blog on (and back then I was already in crazy moving country mode and just couldnt find the time to blog it anyhow!)

Missy L and her mom had this session all to themselves on MOTHER’S DAY! It was so gorgeous just seeing the two of them cuddling, giggling and playing together in their backyard. Missy L really is the queen of crazy faces, she was so hilarious (as well as being breath takingly beautiful too..) I wanted to post my top 20 but that was a little obsessive, so I have narrowed it down to two collages…

Well, I put my numbers into random.org and it pulled out number 32

I have been working on some really exciting projects recently, including the debut of my mascot Flutter (thanks Rachel!)
You’ll see her at the start of this video that I put together over the summer. Flutter’s animation was done by the brilliant Daniel of DJW studios and I love it so much I must have played this video at least 50 times over.
There are some other really great projects in the pipeline so stay tuned!!

So, 10 weeks and counting until the launch of Sarah Raanan Photography in Israel and there is so much to do! I have so many great ideas buzzing around my head, there just arent enough hours in the day for me to work on it all!
I have been working on a survey recently though and would be thrilled if you would take a couple of minutes to fill it out. There are only 20 questions and if you complete it, you will be entered into a prize draw to win a 450 NIS credit towards a photography session.

Ok, I really have to get on with blogging these sessions before these kids graduate university!! I have found that moving countries has really impeded my blogging, but I am finally beginning to settle in to some kind of routine and ‘normal’ life.

So, back to this summer. My last 5 models were just delicious!! Missy ‘N’ and Missy ‘T’ (who are sisters by the way) had so much fun in the studio frolicking on the bed, while I experimented with new lighting set ups. I was really thrilled with the results..

This next session I had the pleasure of working with twin models! Miss ‘Y’ and Mr ‘I’ could not have been more different though – Miss Y was having a ball, twirling around in her pretty skirt, showing us her ballet moves, while Mr I was being a little shy (until we brought out the chocolate chip muffins! )

Have had a hard time choosing which ones to show – I got so many great expression from these two…

Our final modeling session took place at the home of Miss ‘S’ – once i saw her fabulous pink and white candy striped walls, I knew I just had to come photograph there! We experimented with flash and natural light, and even though it was a pretty over cast day (like much of June-August in NJ this year!), we still got some adorable shots of Miss S and her scrumptious smiles….
