So exciting, this should be a lot of fun!

This was such a special session. Abigail and I have been friends for so many years and through the help of Facebook, email and occasional reunions, we have managed to stay in touch and watch each others families grow. When I was still in America, Abigail talked about having this session and we even discussed what day of the week we would do it and how. Luckily for us, she figured that combining the shoot with a weekend visit at her kibbutz would be the best solution!
So, we all spent shabbat with the Madmoni family and had the photo shoot on the Friday afternoon. It’s so amazing to look into these beautiful children’s eyes and see different pieces of their parents, in their features and their expressions. I had an amazing time getting to know the kids and driving round kibbutz looking for different places to shoot. I am super super thrilled with the images (and there are many)

There’s a lot to be celebrating here at the moment! Sarah Raanan Photography launched in Israel in January and after 6 months, we are thriving. Yesterday we hit 350 fans and I promised everyone a competition when we hit 350. Before I announce the competition, I also am so happy to share with you that I have a new official member of the SRP team, Tali (Tali, I need to get you a headshot done asap!!)

Tali and I are hard at work planning the coming year and we have some amazing deals and events lined up for everyone!

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family before they returned to Sweden a few weeks ago. The Mandermans were with us for just 4 short months, during which time our daughters become such good friends. It was amazing to see them communicating with one only speaking Swedish and the other speaking English and basic Hebrew. By the end of the 4 months the two of them were communicating happily together in Hebrew. Oh to be 5 years old…

We met on the beach and very quickly saw that we needed to stay away from the water as Isaac is a seriously fast 1 year old who just kept heading for the sea!!

Our session was so much fun, and the images are totally awesome! I can’t wait to see you guys back here ASAP, we miss you!
