Abigail Madmoni – not only do you get a blog post this week but you have won a 2 hour private workshop too!!
So exciting, this should be a lot of fun! :)
This was such a special session. Abigail and I have been friends for so many years and through the help of Facebook, email and occasional reunions, we have managed to stay in touch and watch each others families grow. When I was still in America, Abigail talked about having this session and we even discussed what day of the week we would do it and how. Luckily for us, she figured that combining the shoot with a weekend visit at her kibbutz would be the best solution! :)
So, we all spent shabbat with the Madmoni family and had the photo shoot on the Friday afternoon. It’s so amazing to look into these beautiful children’s eyes and see different pieces of their parents, in their features and their expressions. I had an amazing time getting to know the kids and driving round kibbutz looking for different places to shoot. I am super super thrilled with the images (and there are many)

There’s a lot to be celebrating here at the moment! Sarah Raanan Photography launched in Israel in January and after 6 months, we are thriving. Yesterday we hit 350 fans and I promised everyone a competition when we hit 350. ( Jun 23rd, 2010 2:26 pm)I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family before they returned to Sweden a few weeks ago. The Mandermans were with us for just 4 short months, during which time our daughters become such good friends. It was amazing to see them communicating with one only speaking Swedish and the other speaking English and basic Hebrew. By the end of the 4 months the two of them were communicating happily together in Hebrew. Oh to be 5 years old…
We met on the beach and very quickly saw that we needed to stay away from the water as Isaac is a seriously fast 1 year old who just kept heading for the sea!!
Our session was so much fun, and the images are totally awesome! I can’t wait to see you guys back here ASAP, we miss you!

The lucky winner, Sabrina, was announced here and we finally got together for our session a couple of weeks ago.
Thank gd I am so busy with work at the moment that I was considering neglecting my blog for a while longer, but I couldnt let another day go by without blogging about these special women.
Sabrina and I met on September 1st, on our daughters’ first day at Gan. I took this photo with my phone on day 1, when it was time to come pick them up.
Instant bonding…
From the moment i met her, I was struck by how real and warm Sabrina is and how naturally beautiful too but I will get killed for saying that in public so i’ll leave it out :) So, it will come as no surprise that PPP she has 3 gorgeous, free spirited girls. And that I was so so excited when I drew her name in the prize draw
I always say that selecting images for my blog and Facebook is a hard task, so I wont repeat myself this time. I had such fun with them on the beach, they were amazing to work with (if you can call frolicking on the beach with 3 gorgeous girls ‘work’!)
I am so excited to see these images up in their new house! Thanks so much girlies for such an unforgettable session!

( May 10th, 2010 12:28 pm)I have been looking forward to this session for a while. I just knew it was going to be a lot of fun! Miss L is turning 12 and will be celebrating her Bat Mitzvah in a few weeks, so we all met up early one morning in park Raanana for an extended family photo session. It’s always really special to see how the children interact with each other, and with their grandparents and great grandparents! And look how well they co-ordinated their clothing is without looking all cutsie matchy :)
